Ipswich is the heart of South East Queensland's Western Corridor. The Queensland Government in the South East Queensland Regional Plan has forecasted that this area will be home to 250,000 new residents by 2026. Ipswich will also create 138,500 new jobs by 2026, and as can be seen below, Wingate's and related projects and will play a substantial role in this growth. The Ipswich City Council is supportive and driving the expansion and progress of the Western corridor in conjunction with State Government, Federal Government and key Western Corridor industry players like Wingate Properties. Four aspects have strongly influenced Wingate Properties focus in the Western Corridor.
